Moosa Fathuhy, who was recently appointed as the Secretary General of the ruling People's National Congress (PNC), has resigned from his position as a member of the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB).
In a social media post, the PCB confirmed it has accepted Fathuhy’s resignation. Fathuhy served as the legal sector representative on the board.
Fathuhy also holds the rank of State Minister at the Ministry of Local Government. However, following recent administrative restructuring within government ministries, it remains unclear which specific ministry he is currently assigned to.
His resignation from the PCB follows his appointment earlier on Monday as the Secretary General of the PNC, which holds control of both the government and Parliament. He fills the vacancy left by the resignation of the former Secretary General, Muaz Haleem.
