The Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) posted a profit of MVR 100 million in the final quarter of 2025.
The bank said its assets increased to MVR 1.69 billion in the fourth quarter, bringing its total asset value to MVR 16.64 billion. The bank also posted a net profit of MVR 100 million.
MIB posted an operating profit of MVR 126 million in the third quarter of last year. Deposits amount to MVR 12.11 billion in the third quarter of 2025, but rose to MVR 13.64 billion in the fourth quarter. This is an increase of MVR 1.53 billion.
MIB has previously described the increase in customer deposits as evidence of growing confidence in the bank. There was a difference of more than MVR 1 billion between the third and second quarters of last year. The bank said it is committed to providing quality services that will earn customers' trust.
MIB has also done various socially beneficial activities in the last quarter. An agreement was signed with Soneva Namoona to implement a waste management project in the Baa atoll.
MIB offers online account opening services along with many other online services.
