President Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Germany from February 9 to 13 at the invitation of President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
According to the President's Office, Muizzu will engage in high-level official talks with Steinmeier and other senior officials.
"The discussions will cover a range of issues of mutual interest to the Maldives and Germany and are expected to further strengthen the longstanding ties between the two countries," the President's Office said.
He will also deliver a speech at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the German Council on Foreign Relations.
Senior government officials told Adhadhu that a 22-member delegation will accompany Muizzu on the visit.
