Dhiraagu and Sparkhub to hold Maldives' first Generative AI hackathon in February

Dhiraagu and Sparkhub have planned the Maldives' first Generative AI hackathon to be held from February 6 to 8.

The hackathon is open to teams of three to five members. Opportunity will be given to those who register first.

Dhiraagu Director for Brand and Marketing Communications Mirshan Hassan said the company's support demonstrates its priority to enable domestic innovators to develop AI-enabled solutions.

“In an age where generative AI is rapidly evolving, it is critical to familiarize as many people as possible with the use of these tools,” he said.

Sparkhub CEO and Co-Founder Hussain Jinan said the aim is to help users build genuine products, rather than just present concepts.

Participants will be introduced to a wide range of commercially available Generative AI tools and platforms through curated sessions
