Sri Lankan media has reported that President Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka in December on a state visit.
According to Economy Next, Muizzu will visit Sri Lanka in the second week of December at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Disanayaka.
Muizzu is expected to sign six agreements on trade, economy, tourism and information exchange during the three day trip.
Meanwhile, Disanayaka visited the Maldives from July 28 to July 30 on Muizzu's invitation during the Independence Day celebrations.
It was his first state visit to the Maldives since taking office in September 2024. Two agreements were signed during the visit.
The President's Office has not yet announced Muizzu's state visit to Sri Lanka.
