Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayaka is scheduled to undertake a state visit to the Maldives on Monday.
Disanayaka will be visiting the Maldives from July 28 to July 30 at the invitation of President Mohamed Muizzu.
According to the President's Office. Muizzu and Disanayaka will hold official discussions to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
This will be Disanayaka’s first state visit to the Maldives since assuming office in September 2024.
The Maldives established diplomatic relations with Sri Lanka on 26 July 1965 and this year commemorates the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
