President's Office Spokesperson Heena Waleed said the website would be updated and she believes that the lack of updates means no important decisions were made during the cabinet meetings.
But posts on the President's Office website and President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's social media platforms prove that important decisions have been taken since April.
The most recent such announcement was made by Muizzu on June 24. He declared that the government was considering a financial allowance to residents of smoke-free islands.
However, details or photos of the cabinet meeting were not released.
Meanwhile, the number of cabinet meetings has decreased compared to the early days of the current administration. Several government officials with knowledge of the matter confirmed this to Adhadhu.
The cabinet meeting used to be held on Sunday every week. But sources said Muizzu has recently not been in Male' on Sundays.
