Search is still ongoing for a foreign national who went missing after a landing craft capsized in the Kaashidhoo sea last week.
A media official for the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said the search was continuing with the help of the Coast Guard and drones.
MNDF added that 1,035 square nautical miles in surface search and 1,496 square nautical miles in aerial search have been monitored.
MNDF officer Ali Hamid was killed when the vessel capsized. There were six people onboard the SIWEC landing craft.
Two locals and two foreigners survived the incident. They were treated at the Lhaviyani Naifaru hospital.
