The Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has signed an agreement to join the multi-service app eeezap.
Eeezap Managing Director Ahmed Mauroof Abdul Hakeem and MIB Managing Director and CEO Mufaddal Idris Khumri signed the agreement at a ceremony held at MIB head office.
Eeezap said the agreement will allow customers to pay for services through MIB's Global Pay with any Visa and MasterCard.
MIB Global Pay is a payment gateway used by many companies in the Maldives.
In addition to MIB Global Pay, the bank also offers an additional payment gateway called Faisa Pay.
Some of the services available from eeezap include direct home delivery of popular meals and delivery of various household items. The application recently introduced taxi services as well.
