President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a tour of Dhaalu atoll.
During the three-day visit, he will meet with the atoll and island councils, Women’s Development Committees (WDC), and heads of various island institutions.
He is also expected to launch key development projects and inaugurate recently completed initiatives.
According to the President's Office, the tour is part of Muizzu's "commitment to engage with the people, assess their needs, and visit every island twice during his term."
He is accompanied by ministers and senior government officials and is set to return to Male' on Tuesday.
