Sinaan appointed COO of MTCC

Sinaan Ali, a former board member of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), has been appointed as the company's Chief Operating Officer (COO).

MTCC officials confirmed to Adhadhu that he was appointed to the post last week.

Sinaan has previously served on the boards of several State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

During former President Abdulla Yameen's administration, he was appointed Chairman of State Electric Company (STELCO) and was later transferred to the board of MTCC. He also served on the board of Island Aviation.

He served on the MTCC board for a second time during the government of former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

Sinaan is also the COO of his news website One Online. After starting his journalism career at Miadhu News, Sinaan moved to Haveeru News. He later served as (Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sun Online and Sun TV for several years.
