Vice President Hussain in UAE to attend World Government Summit

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef departed on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday to attend the World Government Summit.

The summit will be held from February 11 to February 13 in Dubai under the theme "Shaping Future Governments."

The summit will unite governments, international organisations, thought leaders and private sector leaders worldwide to promote international cooperation and identify innovative solutions for future challenges.

According to the President's Office, Hussain will deliver a statement at the Climate Change Forum and hold meetings with dignitaries attending the summit.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu attended the World Government Summit in Dubai in 2024 with a high-level government delegation.
