President Mohamed Muizzu returned to Male’ on Saturday night after concluding an unofficial visit to Singapore.
Muizzu departed for Singapore on May 24 for the Al’ha Eid holidays. At the time, his wife Sajidha Mohamed and other family members were in the United Kingdom.
While the President was in Singapore, the First Lady and family members traveled from the UK to join him there.
Although the President has returned to Male’, the President's Office has not officially confirmed whether Sajidha accompanied him.
The President's Office also did not disclose any details regarding the First Lady's visit to the United Kingdom.
The President's eldest daughter, Yasmeen Muizzu, is currently pursuing her studies in the United Kingdom. Muizzu previously said the First Lady's trip to the UK was a long-planned visit.
