Discussion to strengthen military ties with Pakistan

Defense Minister Ghassan Maumoon has met Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir to discuss strengthening military ties with the country.

In a post on X, the Defense Ministry said the meeting was held on the sidelines of the International Defense Exhibition and Seminars (IDEAS 2024). However, no further details were given.

The seminar which is currently being held in Karachi has been held since the government of former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.

Around 55 countries, including Russia, China and the US, are participating in the seminar which aims to strengthen military ties.
