MIB asset value reaches MVR 10.42 billion

The asset value of the Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) reached MVR 10.42 billion in the last quarter.

MIB said its asset value reached MVR 10 billion for the first time, up 34.31 percent from the third quarter of last year.

According to the last quarterly report, MIB's financing portfolio increased to MVR 5.48 billion in the last quarter. That is an increase of 45.55 percent compared to the third quarter of last year.

MIB's deposit base increased to MVR 8.46 billion compared to the second quarter of this year. That was a 26.46 percent increase over the previous year.

The bank's revenue grew by 50.80 percent compared to the same quarter last year.

Net profit stood at MVR 81.71 million for the third quarter, an increase of 53.76 percent over the previous year.

While MIB has made significant progress in all quarters of this year, the bank is working to provide services with the help of modern facilities.
