Two men have been arrested with a court warrant in connection with the arson of a police motorcycle in Noonu Henbadhoo island.
Police said they were arrested over the vandalism of a police motorcycle and the torching of another police motorcycle in Henbadhoo.
The suspects had allegedly threatened the police officers in Henbadhoo police post and threatened to harm their families and property.
Police earlier said the motorcycles were set on fire and damaged in connection with the anti-drug operation conducted by the police on the island.
Police said such acts would not change the courage and determination of the police.
