The Civil Aviation Authority is investigating the crash-landing of a Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) seaplane on Sunday.
The authority said in a bulletin that the incident occurred while a seaplane travelling from Baa atoll Seaside Finolhu resort was about to land near Baa atoll Westin Miriandhoo resort.
It added that a problem occurred in the seaplane's right pontoon.
The authority said there were 14 people on board, including 11 passengers and three crew members, but no one was injured.
The seaplane sustained various damages but no luggage was damaged.
The Civil Aviation Authority said the DHC Dash 6 seaplane had a problem with the pontoon at around 3:30 pm Sunday.
