A man who went missing on a kayak near Raffles Maldives resort in Gaaf Dhaal atoll has been found.
Police said the missing man was a Bangladeshi national employed by the resort. He went missing after setting out to sea on a kayak.
On Monday morning, police said the man had safely reached a resort in Gaaf Alif atoll and that he was doing well. But they did not disclose the name of the resort.
He was reported missing at around 3:30 pm on Sunday.
The effects of the rainy season have become stronger in recent days with strong winds and rough seas across the country.
