The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating major cases involving some MPs and former ministers, the watchdog revealed on Thursday.
ACC confirmed to Adhadhu that they were investigating cases involving some former ministers and MPs. But they did not provide details.
"We are looking into complaints that money was deposited to companies connected to some MPs and ministers of the former government," a media official said.
Meanwhile, ACC teams raided the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) office and looked into some files on Thursday.
The teams first entered the SDFC office on Thursday morning. They returned later in the day to examine files from previous years.
