The permanent secretaries (PS) of the Homeland Security Ministry and Tourism Ministry have resigned.
Civil Service Commission (CSC) President Mohamed Nasih confirmed the resignations of Tourism Ministry PS Fathmath Nilfa and Homeland Security and Technology Ministry PS Abdul Rahman Salah Rasheed to Adhadhu yesterday.
The commission has now invited applications for the vacant posts, Nasih said.
Abdul Rahman resigned as PS at the Homeland Security Ministry about four years after taking up the post. He was appointed on April 9, 2020.
Nilfa was appointed as Tourism Ministry PS three years ago on March 10, 2021.
In addition to the pair, Education Ministry PS Ahmed Ali also resigned after he was suspended by the CSC for an inquiry into a complaint against him.
