Villa College holds blood donation program

Villa College staff and students have organized a blood donation program in collaboration with Maldives Blood Donors to mark the 16th anniversary of the college.

Villa College staff and students donated blood at the Thalassemia Center on Monday.

The event was led by Villa College staff and student associations. The Villa College Student Association, Villa College Business Society, Psychology Association of Villa College and Law Society of Villa College joined the event.

The blood donation program aims to increase social responsibility and volunteerism among Villa College staff and students.

Suspect arrested for repeated public nuisance escapes facility

Ahmed Fairish, a man arrested for public nuisance and harassment, has escaped from a drug treatment facility in Himmafushi.
