Maldives' first mental health conference underway

The pre-conference workshops of the conference were held in Male' on Saturday.

Maldives' first mental health conference organized by the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) is underway.

The conference is being held in conjunction with Mental Health Day, which is celebrated in October.

The theme for this year's Oevaru conference is "Changing Currents - Forming Connection."

The pre-conference workshops of the conference were held in Male' on Saturday. The conference will be underway in Paradise resort on Sunday and Monday.

Over 100 stakeholders, including mental health providers, experts and various institutions are taking part in the conference.
