A total of 19 complaints have been filed with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) so far in connection with the September 9 presidential election.
An ACC official told Adhadhu that out of the 19 complaints, four cases have been registered and the remaining 14 cases were rejected.
However, the ACC did not give details of these cases.
With 12 days to go until the presidential election, the Election Commission (EC) has received a total of 13 complaints.
"There are mainly complaints about registration... Those issues have been settled," EC Vice President Ismail Habeeb said.
Meanwhile, former President and Parliament Speaker Mohamed Nasheed has filed a case with the police accusing MPs of accepting bribes to switch parties.
The allegation came after two MPs left Nasheed's The Democrats to return to the ruling party. They are Thoddoo MP Hassan Shiyan and Kulhudhuffushi North MP Yasir Abdul Latheef.
