Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has been appointed as a member of the UN Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE).
ACC got GlobE membership on July 17.
“ACC’s membership in the GlobeE network will provide further progress and opportunities for the commission’s fight against corruption,” the anti-corruption watchdog said in a statement.
GlobeE is a network aimed to strengthen the relationship between the anti-corruption commissions of countries and to discuss and solve challenges and obstacles.
The network will provide opportunities to strengthen relationships between agencies through meetings, various activities and virtual platforms.
The number of countries in the network has risen to 91, with the number of agencies now increasing to 161.
