A man was stabbed to death in Addu city late on Wednesday night, according to police.
Police told the media that a 27 year-old man died as a result of stab wounds inside a house in Maradhoo Feydhoo district of the southern city.
He was attacked at around 11:38 on Wednesday night. No suspects have yet been arrested.
Adhadhu understands that the incident took place between two brothers and the attacker is now on the run.
A video circulating on social media shows the man lying with injuries on the pavement in a pool of blood. The sounds of people crying can be heard in the background.
Police have launched investigations into the matter.
