An Indian man has died after an excavator overturned in Noonu Maafaru airport on Thursday morning.
Police told the media that the 35-year-old man was operating the excavator on the airport runway when it overturned.
The incident was reported to police at 09:27 am. Police said the man was dead when taken to Maafaru health center.
Police said investigations were ongoing.
