The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced it will hold the company’s 40th annual general meeting on May 29.

The meeting will be held at the Islamic Center hall at 08:30 pm. Shareholders who register before May 21 are eligible to attend the meeting.

Shareholders and proxies can join the meeting at the Islamic Center or through the online ‘Fahivote’ meeting management system of Maldives security depository (MSD).

The agenda for the meeting includes;

  • Approving notes from the extraordinary meeting held on January 10 2023
  • Approving the balance sheet and income statement for 2022
  • Approving the directors’ report and auditors’ report for 2022
  • Approving the dividend proposed by directors’ board for 2022
  • Approving an audit firm for 2023
  • Electing members to directors’ board

Registration for the meeting opened on May 10 and ends on May 27. Application forms are available on the BML website.
