King Muhammad Fareed Didi , the son of the Sultan Prince Abdul Majeed Didi , was the last Sultan of Maldives and the first Maldivian monarch to assume the title of "King" with the style of "His Majesty". He was the Sultan of the Maldives from March 7, 1954, until November 11, 1968. He was deposed in 1968 from the throne when Maldives became a republic, and died the following year in Maldives.

Ibrahim Shaheen
Ibrahim Shaheen was born in Ha. Hoarafushi Maldives in 1994. Having grown up in one of the most beautiful countries of the world, surrounded by its natural beauties and rich culture his love to capture the mundane objects nature and surrounds was nurtured from a young age. Ibrahim shaheen was always fascinated by the images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Ibrahim Shaheen’s talent was nurtured in school years where he opted to study Art and his winning of the Cambridge Top Ten world awards in 2011 greatly encouraging. Shaheen explores the unlimited potential of oil painting, acrylic painting, drywall art, craft works, digital art and modern art. With different styles of techniques in his paintings there is a sense of dynamism and exuberance in his work of art is an exciting kinetic experience and collaborating with several Maldivian and Australian Artists. He has executed many commissioned art works and also exhibited in many exhibitions in the Maldives.
