The art work captures the historical figures that played the major roles in the event that lead to the independence of Maldives on 26th July 1965. Sultan Muhammad Fareed Didi in the top center of the art work, on the left Ahmed Hilmy Didi & Abdul Sattar Moosa Did and on the right Ibrahim Nasir who served as Prime Minister of the Maldives under Sultan Mohamed Fareed Didi. Also have tweaked some details in the background inspired by Mohammed Thakurufaan who is one of the National heroes of Maldives.

Ali Rishwaan
Ali Rishwaan (Cartman Ayya) is a Maldives based artist with several years of experience in the field. His main preferred medium is acrylic. Notable areas that he has worked on include landscape and portraiture, 3D art, Wall mural, digital illustrations, logo design, branding, and product layout.He has worked with the Maldivian government in several projects as well. These include art installations and 3D art in Hulhumale Central Park, curated and designed 8 installations for the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.He has displayed his art in various exhibitions including national exhibition for over 9 years, SAARC artists camp 2019. He have had Solo exhibitions at Lecute store and Gloria Jeans Cafe' and a group Exhibition at Angsana Velavaru Resort, Exhibited in Maldives Heritage Week 2021 at Sharjah Institute of Culture, Sharjah, UAE and participated in all the Unveiling Visions annual exhibition from 2015 till 2020 organized by Maldivian artist Community-MAC. Elected as a board member of MAC since 2019. His artworks are also featured as part of the Whale Shark Festival in Maamigili island. He aspire to excel in the industry and develop his skills further.
