In 1975 Maldives gained political Independence from the British It is a day to celebrate but I believe we still have a long way for growth and evolution to gain true independence. We are still stuck in our ways imprisoned by our minds and heart restricted often many times to express our authentic selves and pursuer our dreams. So may of us is not sure how we can be free with in hence this painting represents we are often free in our fantasies

art has been a passion for me since I was a child. During school days I've often gotten into trouble because I'm not paying attention to class and scribbling away. I still kept drawing. I started drawing with pencil and pen at first but recent years have started acrylic paint in different styles. My main style is figure drawing and portraits but I like to mix and match different styles like abstract, realism, surrealism, dark art and so on. For me, art is a journey and discovering paths that have not been crossed before.
