Restaurant Association was first established on the 24th of June 2009 as the first association in this industry. The association was created by a gathering of 17 people known as the founding members.

Throughout its existence the association has been supporting and creating opportunities for member in the association.

The Restaurant Association has opened the opportunity for the food and beverage industry and other related businesses to become members of the association.

The objectives of this association consists of pursuing the development and growth of Restaurants, Cafes, Hotels and other such businesses while ensuring their rights. The association further aims to foster relations and awareness among members of the association and encourage individual growth and business success in the industry.

Association run by ‘Executive (ExCo) board Members”. Members are elected by voting among restaurateurs and representatives in a general assembly in every two years. Board includes, a President, two Vice Presidents, a Secretory General, a Treasurer and eight board members.
