Former Minister Mariya appointed as Ambassador-at-Large
Former Minister Mariyam Mariya has been appointed as Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry after resigning from her previous post in April. Her move follows a government restructuring effort by President Mohamed Muizzu. Mariya has already begun her new duties, joining other former ministers transitioning to new roles.
