Maldivian Red Crescent launches Nepal relief fund
The Maldivian Red Crescent has launched a relief fund to aid Nepal after catastrophic flooding killed over 600 people and left thousands missing. Proceeds will support the Nepal Red Cross Society as rescue teams work to assist 93,000 affected residents and pilgrims. The disaster has destroyed thousands of homes near the Nepal-Tibet border.
