Probe ordered into Yameen’s allegations in three ministries fire
Home Minister Ali Ihusaan has ordered a police probe into former President Abdulla Yameen’s claims that a 2024 ministry fire was intentional. While official reports blamed an electrical short, Yameen alleges the perpetrator is close to the current president. The National Integrity Commission will also review the police's initial findings.
