Suspect released early from custody involved in crash
A suspect released early from custody was involved in a serious crash in Hulhumalé while evading police on a stolen motorcycle. The accident, caused by driving against traffic, left five people injured, including two currently on ventilators. The suspect had a prior criminal record and was released before his remand period expired.
