Two suspects were arrested with three kilos of drugs yesterday (February 21) during an operation following intelligence information.

Police said the operation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement and Counter Narcotics Intelligence departments.

The suspects are 28-year-old Azhad Naseem and 36-year-old Bangladeshi national Haneef.

Haneef was remanded in custody for five days and Azhad for 15 days.

Police have not released any further details, but they said further investigations were underway.
