President Mohamed Muizzu departed for Singapore on Thursday night (February 5).

But the government has not officially announced his visit. The President's Office usually announces his trips, including domestic trips.

The government Spokesperson did not respond to calls for information about Muizzu's visit to Singapore.

The President's Office Communications Minister Ibrahim Khaleel also did not respond to a request for comment.

Meanwhile, Muizzu is scheduled to leave for Germany on Monday (February 9) to engage in high-level official talks.

It is unusual for administrations to withhold information about the President's visits.
