A special flu clinic has been set up at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The flu clinic will provide consultations and take blood samples from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily in consultation room 10.

All flu clinic visitors are requested to visit the Emergency Room (ER) triage first.

Tokens can be taken from the QueueBee application and the triage will instruct whether to go to the ER or the flu clinic.

Fever and the common cold are expected to increase during the school holiday season and the Umrah pilgrimage season.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 28,619 people consulted doctors for fever and cold in December, while 2,931 people sought treatment for diarrhoea.

In addition, 413 people tested positive for dengue last month, while a total of 152 people tested positive for influenza.
