A woman has allegedly stabbed her partner during an argument.

Police told the media that the lovers' quarrel had turned violent and one person was assaulted with a sharp object.

The 32-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her 64-year-old lover in the incident. Both of them had sustained injuries.

Police did not specify the nationality of the couple.

Police also did not say whether anyone had been arrested in connection with the incident.

But they said that an investigation was underway.
