Visit Maldives' COO Sabeeha Ahmed has been appointed to the company's board.

She previously worked in sales and marketing at major resorts such as Jumeirah Group, Fairmont Maldives and Crown and Champa Resorts.

Visit Maldives said her appointment will bring additional marketing experience and skills to the board.

The board also includes Chairman Abdullah Giyas, CEO and MD Ibrahim Shiuree and non-executive directors Maha Nazeer, Aminath Vulau Mohamed Nazim, Abdul Samiu Imad and Aishath Hameed.
