Abdul Nafiu Mohamed, who was accused of involvement in fraud in the sale of the luxury apartment K Park Residence being built by Hanbo Company in Hulhumale', has been appointed as a director of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

Nafiu was appointed Director of Business Development and Sales at HDC. Employees have now been informed of his appointment.

Nafiu was suspended from HDC for 14 days in May 2023 following the fraud allegations. He remained in the company after the suspension.

At the time, police investigated the allegations.

Ibrahim Mamdooh (Mandey) is the main suspect in the K Park residence fraud and his court cases are ongoing. Nafiu is accused of aiding and abetting.
