Three people have been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of 65-year-old Abdul Rahman Adam in Alif Alif Maalhos.

Adhadhu understands the suspects are Ahmed Ashid, Mohamed Wisaam and Ahmed Faris. All three belong to Maalhos island.

Wisaam and Faris were arrested from Maalhos. Both of them have jobs in the island. Faris was arrested from capital Male'.

All three of them were arrested simultaneously during police operations in Male' and Maalhos late last night.

On August 10, police seized phones from five people and clothing from one person. They included the phones and clothing from the suspects arrested last night.

Abdul Rahman was brutally murdered in his home in Maalhos on July 13.
