Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has announced that Indian film icon Katrina Kaif has been appointed as the global ambassador for Maldives tourism.

Katrina, a household name across South Asia and a widely recognized international celebrity, expressed her excitement about representing the Maldives on the world stage.

Ibrahim Shiuri, CEO and Managing Director of Visit Maldives, said the star’s global influence would play a key role in reaching wider audiences.

Katrina Kaif, known for her work in numerous blockbuster Bollywood films and a recipient of multiple acting awards, has a strong fan base not only in India but also across Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
