A drone show and fireworks display has been planned to welcome the New Year in Maldives.

The 15-minute drone show will begin at Hulhumale' Central Park at 8:55 pm while the five-minute fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 11:59 pm.

A food festival has also been planned for today and tomorrow from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Hulhumale' Central Park.
