Street fights occurred in three areas of Malé city last night.

According to police, the incidents took place inside De Public Café on Muniyaa Magu, in front of Kinza Café on Shaheed Kudanevi Thuththu Manik Hingun, and near Noor Miskiy on Filigas Magu in Henveiru.

Police reported that sharp weapons were used in the fight outside Kinza Café.

It remains unclear whether anyone was injured during the incidents. The police have not yet announced any arrests related to the violence.

Last night’s fights are part of an ongoing series of attacks in recent weeks. This follows a series of gang-related incidents last month, including several arson attacks on vehicles.
