A Bangladeshi man has been arrested with alcohol bottles during a police operation in Hulhumale' last night.

Police said 144 beer cans and four alcohol bottles were found after stopping and searching a car.

The suspect in custody is MD Kalu, 26, from Bangladesh.

The case is being investigated by the Hulhumale' Phase One police station.
