Two hospitals in Bangalore have stopped providing Aasandha health insurance services due to non-payment by the government.

Aasandha MD Aminath Zeeniya told Adhadhu that Cytecare Hospitals Pvt Ltd and Aster CMI Hospital in Bangalore have suspended services due to pending payments.

"Aster CMI Hospital does not provide service for credit now. is not issuing credit now. Cytecare Hospitals has also stopped. Because there are pending payments," she said.

Zeeniya said in addition to the two hospitals, Manipal Hospital in Bangalore has also stopped providing services under the Aasandha scheme.

But she noted that Manipal Hospital suspended services to revise the rates, adding that all other hospitals will continue to provide services under Aasandha.
