India's Apollo Hospital in Bangalore has announced the various opportunities for Maldivian nationals.
Speaking at a press conference in PSM on Saturday, Apollo Hospital's Head of International Business Abu Bakker Siddiq said an average of 70 Maldivians visit the hospital each month.
He noted that the hospital had been accepting Allied Insurance, Amana Takaful and Aasandha for the last three years.
The hospital's neurosurgeon Dr. Satish Satyanarayana said the hospital performs brain tumor surgery using advanced robotic microscopes and endoscopes.
The hospital's cardiologist Dr. Girish B Navasundi said Apollo has the world's best bypass center and specializes in cardiac surgery and robotics heart surgery.
"Apollo uses robotics to perform surgeries for many women's diseases. It allows the surgeries to be performed with less risk," said gynaecologist and robotic surgeon Dr. Rani Bhat.
Manta Air operates direct flights between Maldives and Bangalore.
Apollo Hospital provides services with world-class doctors using the latest technologies and equipment.
Apollo Hospital was founded in 1983. Over the past 40 years, the hospital has made significant improvements in its services and introduced many innovations.
Apollo has more than 71 hospitals, 350 clinics, more than 2,000 diagnostic centres, 5,500 pharmacies, 7,500 paramedics, and employs more than 13,000 doctors and 15,000 nurses.
Meanwhile, Apollo's app has more than 2.7 million users. The hospital is also using AI technology.
