The largest taxi service provider in the Maldives, Avas Ride has rebranded its mobile app as Avas App with additional services.

The Avas App will improve the quality of taxi services and introduce a payment gateway to make it easier for customers and drivers to pay for the service.

A three-month free promotion has also been launched for drivers who wish to register for the Avas App.

The new app is now available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and the old app will be discontinued after some time.

Customers can request for cars, pickups and motorcycles through the Avas Ride app. Private cars without taxi boards are also listed on the app.

Avas Ride was launched in 2019 in Male' and has now been expanded to other parts of the country. Around 2,500 vehicles are currently listed on the app.
