Tree Top Hospital is set to open applications for its annual nursing scholarship program, aimed at supporting Maldivian students aspiring to pursue careers in the healthcare sector.

This year’s scholarship opportunities are offered for two programs conducted at Villa College: the BSc (Hons) Nursing (International) Top-up and the three-year Diploma in Nursing.

The application window is open from September 15 to September 30. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications via email to education@treetophospital.com.

The scholarship is open exclusively to Maldivian citizens, including both new applicants and students currently enrolled in these programs. Additionally, applicants must not be recipients of any other educational scholarship from another institution.

Tree Top Hospital CEO, Dr. Srivatsan Sridhar G, said that the scholarship program, held in collaboration with Villa College, underscores the hospital’s commitment to talent development and providing academic support to students.

Since its inception in 2021, the program has awarded nursing scholarships to a total of 23 individuals. Among those who have completed their education and training under this initiative, 12 nurses are currently providing full-time service at Tree Top Hospital.
